Directions to get to the event.

From the north.

If you are travelling south on State Highway 1, take the Pokeno exit just south of the Thames -Tauranga Highway 27 turnoff. Proceed to Pokeno Village and turn Right onto the Wangarata- Tuakau Road. Pokeno School, where event participants assemble is about 500m up the road on your right. Turn right into the road before the school, follow the signs that direct you to where to park your vehicle.

From the south

If you are travelling North on State Highway 1, take the Pokeno exit about 2-3 km after Mercer. Follow this exit through the village and continue onto the Wangarata- Tuakau Road. Pokeno School, where the event starts is about 500m up the road on your right. Turn right into the road before the school, follow the signs that direct you to where to park your vehicle.
